Don't worry. Embarrassingly (a definite case of first precious baby syndrome)I actually rang our local hospital when dd this (she was about 18 months at the time). (Nearly died of shock when I walked in on her sitting in her playpen holding her nappy and giving me a wide 'brown smile' .) Just washed her mouth out with lots and lots of water. The doctor at the end of the line just laughed and said 'no need to worry' if that's any help!
