My 22 year old son is currently being assessed for Brugada Syndrome following a seizure yesterday. Does anyone have any experience of living with it? How debilitating is it? How hard to avoid triggers etc? Thanks

No experience but I didn't want to ignore your post having sons with other medical conditions. At least he's being investigated which is the most important thing and you'll go from there. Flowers

Hi

I know a little about it.

Has he had the Ajmaline test yet?

kirinm · 25/04/2019 10:45

Thanks. He's actually been diagnosed now and had an ICD fitted.

@Kirinm

Hi, goodness me! That was quick to be fitted with an ICD!

Has anyone else been tested for it?

I hope he is recovering well.

Thanks @boble1 - he was transferred to a specialist heart centre and admitted - considered high risk. No one else has been tested yet but I will be in the next few weeks.

Hi

I hope things go well for you.

I know it's a terrifying time for you all.
