Ear pain relief

OK, abit of a backstory.

Started feeling irritated during the week then woke up at 2am on Friday in agony. Went to the walk in centre at 6am to be told its an ear infection. I knew it would be hence why I couldn't wait to get it sorted. I've been put on amoxicillin and painkillers and it's getting worse. This is now day 3 of 4 amoxicillin a day and it is honestly worse. Not even pain relief is relieving anything. It's now making me feel sick with it.
Does anyone have any tips on how to relieve the pain a little.
I feel like begging it's horrendous

Co-codamol might be worth a go... much stronger and available at pharmacists. But you still have time to improve- complete the antibiotics and if no better go back to your GP and ask for Amoxiclav which penetrates much deeper - used for deep bites and sinus infections.

Thanks.
I had to go back today and I've been given a stronger antibiotic. Just annoyed this has happened on my week off from work. Typical lol
