Eczema advice?

My menopause thing is Eczema. Everything else has passed me by, but my skin is dry and itchy all over all the time.

I have tried loads of emollients including paraffin ones. The smell of these makes me gag. All emollients work to some extent, but l still itch all over all the time.

I’ve dealt with this by using dermovate twice for one day every 10 days. This stops the itching. I have scars and scratches all over from scratching. Dermatologist not impressed and prescribed those horrible paraffin things. They make the skin less dry but do t reduce the itching,

Is it so bad? What I’m doing? It’s the only bloody thing that gives me any relief
