Private GP Appointment

Hi I'm just wondering if anyone knows how I can go about getting a private GP appointment please? How much do they usually cost? I know tests etc are extra but I just want to get an idea of what my issue could be. I'm then hoping to be able to go back to my NHS doctor with the info. I'm really not getting anywhere with my NHS GP!

Is it really as easy as finding a private hospital and giving them a call?

Where I am there are a couple of private hospitals where you can see a gp, I’m sure if you google you’ll find some near you. The appointment was £80 and any referrals/tests needed could either be done privately (at a cost) or they could refer back into the nhs.
