Frequent illness - worth seeing GP?

This winter I seem to have been constantly ill. Probably just a bit run down due to the demands of looking after a badly sleeping 2 year old who passes on all the nursery germs, but I was wondering if this seemed like a normal level of illness?

During February / March I had: a cold, the flu, two more colds back to back. During those last two colds, a course of amoxicillin for a gum infection, a really nasty case of bacterial conjunctivitis followed two days later by earache and a sore throat for a week (some white spots on my tonsils but nothing too severe, assuming the eye infection had spread).

Is it worth going to the GP, or is this fairly normal with a young child?
