Watery discharge?

I had a hysterectomy and removal of tubes/ovaries and cervix 7 years ago. However for the last 4 days I've had a dull pain in the area my cervix would be (vaginal cuff?) and a very very watery discharge. It's definitely not urine, it's got a very slight green tinge to it but literally it's like water. Any ideas? After my hysterectomy I was readmitted due to a haematoma/fistula in the cuff area but it was blood. Could it be an STD (I haven't cheated but have suspicions about my partner). There's no smell.

Maybe TMI but is there a smell with it? It could be bacterial vaginosis. This is not an STD. It can be caused by hormonal changes, reaction to soaps or perfumed S products, douching etc. Its basically when the PH balance of everything gets upset and it can cause a bacterial infection to set in. Symptoms can range from no signs at all to watery green grey discharge, and symtoms similar to thrush. Can also cause a fishy odour that gets worse after sex. If u dont want to go to dr u can get a take home test in savers/boots (dont know how accurate) you can also buy a gel relief treatment which u insert at night for 10 days. Alot of people need a specific anti-b to clear it though. Loads of people get this. If this is what it is its nothing to worry about but you should get it checked as long term it can cause other problems. Good luck

Thankyou Teago. I've been to GP and she has sent off 2 swabs. She said the inside of my vagina is very red and inflamed and there is profuse discharge :( Will get results Thursday.

Do you think your partner may have exposed you to an STI?

It does sound like BV I had this with no foul smell. Careful if they prescribe antibiotics metronidazole they sent me loopy! The gel works just as well if that’s what it is!

Tests show its chlamydia. He's denying he's slept with anyone. Sad
