Water infection

I've had low stomach pains & backache all over the weekend and felt sickly but last night the pain was worse and I was so sick. I went to the drs and got told it's a water infection.

Never knew you could be sick with a water infection??!! Has anyone had this?

Felt off all day & just hope the antibiotics kick in ASAP.

Assuming you mean a urinary infection (doctors/nurses irritate me so much with their patronizing "water infections", "water tablets", etc.), it will impair your kidneys' ability to regulate the composition of your blood, which can result in nausea, confusion and lots of other symptoms you might not expect.
