Hi for past few months my sleeping has got worse and worse. I go to sleep ok most of the time but usually wake up a couple of hours later with aches and pains in my arms and back, a dry mouth (even tho I have drink alot of water and have a bottle next to the bed) and a stuffy nose (not a cold though) sometimes I wake up with pins and needles in my arms. Does anyone have any idea how I can get a good night's sleep? It's not the mattress as I've had it a couple of years no problem.

Hi OP. Sorry to hear that. Please go to GP and get some bloods done. In the meantime make sure you are not dehydrated. Obviously being dehydrated could give you s dry mouth and can give you all kinds of other problems. Diabetes for example also causes some of the issues you mention and that is easily diagnosed with a blood test. Good luck.

The dry mouth and stuffy nose could be caused by the air in the room, try leaving bedroom window open a few hours before bed time or buy yourself a humidifier and turn it on before you go to sleep, they are about £30 in argos. The aches/stiffness/pins and needles I'm not sure about to be honest, could it be that your sleeping in the one position and becoming numb and it's the pins and needles waking you up? Although there isn't an awful lot you could do about that as you can't make yourself move position during your sleep 🤔
