Burn on palm

Accidentally gripped hot saucepan handle straight out of oven earlier. I was able to rinse my hand under cold water for a long time after probably 45-50 minutes. But I had these electric shock sensations in my hand while doing this so was so afraid I caused nerve damage and was really panicking with fear at the time. Now, the burns themselves don't look terrible - not really blistered just sort of hardened red and in some places white skin. The pain comes in waves but no more nerve sensations. Does this sound like a really minor born? Was just concerned about the pain coming and going

Is it blistered or black..if not it's a superficial burn. To stop the pain wrap your hand in cling film. It stops the air reaching the burn which is what causes the pain.
