Morning 

A little while back I posted on here asking if anyone has experience of raised folates in the blood.

Well I finally has my appointment to follow up yesterday. My GP wasn’t overly concerned about my blood results. Everything came back good. Her opinion on the raised folates was likely down to me supplementing she said. I was also given the CA125 marker at my request and it was returned fine too.

She heard my symptoms again; bloating, frequent urination, abdominal discomfort, constipation, mucousy discharge (from both), and chronic exhaustion. She rubbed her head and said she was baffled to be honest as the bloods appear find.

She has referred me now to the Rectal Services at my local hospital for scans and a camera etc. My appointment is in a months time. I could feel my head jumping to all sorts of conclusions, so I asked if she thought the issue could be with my bowel then? She told me she wanted to get to the bottom of the constipation as its unusual to go from every day to every 4-5 days. And then try and get to the bottom of the exhaustion.

Unfortunately the anxious me now isn’t coping very well, already googling, reading stories that are breaking my heart.

Any advice is welcome.

TIA xx

Stop googling. I know it’s tempting but don’t do it. Be reassured by your blood test results and that you’re going to be checked out with the camera. Best of luck OP.

Thank you @NoSauce. I know. When my anxiety kicks in though I could throttle myself at the thoughts that go through my head. They end up being worse than the day of my appointment. I wish so bad I wasn't like it. I am looking at the positives though, well trying x
