D-Mannose for UTI. Does it actually work?

So I suppose I’ve been lucky to avoid a UTI for 2 years but here we are again

My quest for treatment usually goes like this - go to doctors with sample . They tell me they can’t find infection . I say there deffo is and I’m peeing blood and in agony, they agree to give me an ineffective short course of anti biotics.
Repeat this process about 3 times and throw in some time off work and some more agony

So I’m hoping that this time the D-mannose tablets are the cure. I’m popping 2 every couple of hours

Success stories please?

Yes, it definitely works! Sometimes short courses of ABs don't clear the infection properly, and a longer course is needed, or stronger ABs. But D-mannose is very good to have in the cupboard to use at the first sign of a UTI. If you order from Sweetcures, it usually arrives the next day.

They worked for me. Doctors were worse than useless and am now allergic to a certain antibiotic. I found taking the maximum dose and drinking bicarb of soda in water helped. Have a sensitive bladder so supposed to cut down on coffee - very hard!

Great . Fingers crossed

Another one here - definitely works. Hit it hard from the first symptoms. My GP thoroughly approves and he's ace!

Wishing you well Op.

Personally i had to take D-Mannose regularly & long term to stop getting UTIs.

It’s still hanging about
It’s weird as usually I really suffer with them. But this just seems to be niggling on and off
I even cancelled a doctor call back as I felt fine . Next day I could feel it again v slightly . Usually I’d be in agony and peeing blood by now

Update : I ended up with anti botics for this weird on / off UTI. However since writing the original post it turned out I was pregnant so it’s probably a symptom of that
