Possible UTI

Hi I wondered if anyone had any advice. I'm not sure if I have a uti because I'm not rushing to the toilet all the time. But when I go it stings, when I need to go I get a burning sensation and a pain in my pelvis. I also have a pain in my right side (kidney area I assume) but that comes and goes. I've had it for a few days now. Does this sound like a UTI? If so I'll try and get to ooh tomorrow

It does sound like a UTI if it’s burning when you pee as you say. Does it have quite a strong smell?

I suffer with UTIs and the doctor doesn’t always prescribe me antibiotics, what with all this cutting down on prescribing them they are doing now. Last time I had one I used cystitis relief sachets I got from boots and drank lots and lots of water to flush it out and it did work. Hopefully your doctors will just prescribe you with some antibiotics to clear it up.

Good luck and get well soon

Yes it does sound like a UTI I have had lots of UTIs mostly get urge to go lots too but sometimes just burning and tummy pain and once just very high temp. I normally drink loads of water and rest for a few days to try to shift it if no luck with that then go to GP for antibiotics. Last UTI I had the antibiotics were foul.
