Is it possible to get in uk?

I have been back and forth at doctors with severe itching, fatigue, issues with vision for over a year.

I've had every blood test, scans etc and all clear and normal. My b12 is very low and I have been noticing stuff in my stool and I noticed a long, flat worn like in the water. I stupidly didn't take any pictures for doctor.

I was at my doctors who prescribed me tablets for tapeworm, no stool sample was took and pharmacist won't prescribe as it's not completely confirmed( I can understand this)

Has anyone had this? How was it picked up? I'm very down as I am feeling dreadful and bit worried?

Unless the things in your stool looked liked wriggling grains of rice, you probably do not have a tape worm.
More likely to have thread worms as they lay their eggs outside on your bum causing itching. They are also around 5cm long and stringy looking- that is most likely what you saw.
I hope you managed to get de wormed.
