Dd is 18mo and has always been in good health. She started vomiting on Tues afternoon, and stopped within 24hrs, had the runs until Wed night, and has now stopped both (thankfully!)

Has not eaten since Tues breakfast, but drinking lots of water. All she wants to do is lay on me and sleep (alhough not at night!)

How long would you leave it before seeking medical advice? She has not got a temp anymore.

Incidentally, started antibiotics Tues lunchtime for ear infection (has had antibiotics before) - could this be related do you think or a coincidence?

Have you tried to call NHS direct? I hate wasting doctors time but these are our children and you can never be too careful. If I were you I would give them a call and they will advise you whether or not to see a doctor.

Oh I would definitely talk to the doctor who prescribed the antibiotics in case it's a reaction to them.
I think it's quite common for antibiotics to cause diarrhoea - have you looked on the packet? - but not sure about the vomiting.

I would go to dr's tbh just to rule out any problem with antibiotics.

Don't worry about looking neurotic it's what they are there for
