It has only take 3 weeks to come through, and it is for 5 weeks time. While i'm pleased it's come through quickly, part of me is worried that it's been so quick.I was told at the doc's it could take 6-8 weeks to come through and be months away.

BBH - In my considerable experience of hospital appts, sometimes they take agaes, sometimes they come much more quickly than expectyed. i suspect that they do not want to give over-optimistic estimates and then have people ringing up!

Also, I don't know what your particular concern is, but everyone I know who has been referred for something that could be very evry immediately serious / ominous gets an appt within the week, or fortnight at the most. Personally, i don't think 3 wks / 5 wks sounds alarming.

They're fab You probably have an early appointment as it's the summer and people cancel. Hope it goes OK.

Not sure if you know the Childen's but be warned, parking is dreadful. We generally go on the train.
