Child crying 3yrold - growing pains?

Anyone have experience of toddler with growing pains in legs/ back of knee? They seem to plague my 3yrold from time to time - once they arrive and bother him he seems to take a long while to be rid of them.No temp, no rash, no other discernible symptoms. Very upset and crying, clearly also exhausted. Very hard to console. Is this a normal thing?

Yes my son could be a bit like this at that age though usually at night.

You could try occasional ibuprofen, does he take vitamin tablets? Esp vit d. Might be slightly hyper mobile? Twisting knees? Hopefully he will grow out of it though I know it's difficult.

Was just about to ask if he was hypermobile? Young son is the same was diagnosed about that age.
