Do I go to GP to check mole

Hello,

I have a mole that feels very dry. It feels like a scab on my back but it is a mole. I can't get a good look at it because of where it is. Is it still the GP I go to to get moles checked or is it the pharmacy? Or is it better to go somewhere like Boots, I remember reading they will check moles. I have lots of moles.

Go to GP - that’s what they are for (from a GP).

Boots will charge you £50 for "mole mapping" which is basically a very crude few pictures and the upshot is you have to get the moles checked out by a doctor anyway.
Miss out the middleman and see your GP.
It's probably an irritated seborrhoeic keratosis anyway, not a mole. Your GP will know.

Thank you very much to both of you for replying. I was worried about wasting the GP's but I will make an appointment now :)
