I’m 37. Fit and healthy, no real health concerns etc. The last week I’ve felt so tired...not just a little bit sleepy, exhausted. I sleep 10.30-6 every night. The last 3 days I’ve come home from dropping the 2 youngest DC’s at school and fallen asleep on the sofa for 2+ hours. I’ve lost my appetite and feel a bit sick.
Do u think it’s just a virus? Otherwise I feel fine, no pain etc.
It’s just so unlike me to feel so tired and sluggish 😩😴

Sounds very much like a virus. I think it's your body's way of fighting it - energy levels dip so the energy can be used elsewhere in your body. Plenty of rest and fluids is the usual advice and if it gets worse visit the GP.

I would assume a virus in first instance but if it continues for longer than a fortnight I'd go to the GP as you may need blood tests for check for things like anaemia and hypothyroid

Thank you 😊 I’ll hang on and see how it goes!

Could you be pregnant? Thats how I felt with dd, overwhelmingly tired.

TapasForTwo · 20/03/2019 13:05

Or diabetes

Whereareyouspot · 20/03/2019 13:06

Pregnant!!

LailaByron · 20/03/2019 13:22

I don’t think it’d be diabetes...I had loads of bloods done in hospital about a month ago and all were fine. I’m presuming that would have been picked up? Pregnant.....? I hope not! I’ve been on the pill since having youngest DC 9 years ago. Fingers crossed it’s just a virus! Thanks all x
