For two years now my mums been suffering with agonising stomach pain attacks that manifest as severe bloating and sharp aches pain that lasts for anything between half an hour to hours. Her last attack saw her taken off to hospital where she was so bloated they thought there was a mass, however once the attack had passed her tummy was normal.
Alongside this she’s had three episodes of heavy post-menopausal bleeding. The GP has fobbed her off for two years but after the hospital admission they finally started to do investigations. The blood tests showed raised white blood cells and celeriac protein. She went for an internal ultrasound today and there was thickening of the womb lining (6.5mm) so they took a biopsy and now we have to wait 2 weeks for the results.
We are so terrified that its womb cancer; has anyone had any similar experiences?
