Taking temp

Hi my 8 week old has just had her first set of jabs this morning. I've been told to monitor her temperature but I only gave the classic stick in the mouth ones. I doubt she'll comply with it going in her mouth so where else is best to put it? Under arm pit or behind knee etc? Sorry if it seems a silly question, first time mother

Are you not supposed to give paracetamol as standard after those vaccinations anyway?

Yes she's having calpol as directed but they said to still keep an eye on it
