I had a cancerous mole removed on Monday and have 6 sutures on a 2 inch wound. I had to remover the dressing the following day as the skin round the wound was becoming itchy and red. The itching is now driving me mad! The wound isn't weeping, I feel like it's more an allergic reaction to the actual sutures. Is this possible? I've got another 5 days before they're being removed but feel like pulling them out myself.
