I have never ever suffered a bout of diarrhoea before but omg ...

Since last night I've been up and down to the loo umpteen million times .

I can't figure out the cause.

I had a Nissan fundoplication (stomach op) 5 years ago but have never suffered like this.
I have been pretty stressed and upset the last week (someone close altered a will to exact revenge for comments I and a friend had made regarding them) and I rowed with dp yesterday so felt anxious and panicky before work and I recently began a new job which I feel like a fish out of water doing. Also new shift pattern.

Of course it could just be a bug but I never ever suffer with stuff like this.
I'm laid in bed (shortens the loo dash)
Feeling ok in my self but horrible stomach cramps and really growly stomach yet I'm hungry now (had a bit of toast this morning but darent eat ) Want to get up showered and dressed but tired and feels pointless till the worst has passed.
Feeling crap. (Scuse pun)

This was me last week!
I've never experienced anything like it.
It was bearly even diarrhoea more like water flushing out of me for 3 days, all through the night too.
I always assumed with something like that you'd be vomiting too but didn't once.
By the third day I was feeling really weak too so rest up as much as you can and good call about being near a toilet!
Make sure you stay hydrated, I woke up on day 2 with dry, scaley lips because I was so dehydrated. I was drinking my usual amount too! Eat what you can but bear in mind it's gonna get flushed back out really quick! Eeek.. good luck and I hope you feel better soon! FlowersBrew

Yes I've had bug before where I didn't throw up, they affect people differently. Last year we all caught a bug, my husband first had severe vomiting, fever no diarreah. 48hrs later my son started throwing up and had diarreah (he was only 3) and then 4 days after him I got it but only had diarreah for 2 straight days no vomiting so blatantly same bug but all 3 different variations of the symptoms. As long as its not food poisoning you can take anti-diarreah medicine to ease it, I did on the 2nd day as I couldn't take it anymore (tmi, I have a pile from childbirth and the frequent wiping was making it so painful). Try and wash hands every time you go to loo and don't prepare food for anyone and clean your loo with bleach if you don't want to spread it to anyone you live with.

I’m gonna say a bug... just because it was me yesterday!
I wasn’t expecting it, only went to the loo for a wee and I was there for what seemed like a lifetime.

Keep your fluids up!
