I take various drugs for chronic pain and have to take them all or I wouldn't be able to go to work.
I have had such problems with supply chains over the years, not a recent Brexit thing.
Last week I went off to pick up my drugs from the chemist which I always order in plenty of time and was told that my essential pain relief was not available as the company has "problems" with their suppliers and they have no idea when they will be available again.
I ranf 10 pharmacies, none of whom had any.
This leaves me with no pain killers all over the weekend and for the next 4 days until the surgery sorts out a prescription for another brand or the crappy generic version which I find just doesn't work as well.
They will not do a prescription before 4 days even if you are screaming with withdrawal symptoms, I've tried it a few good times before.
This has been happening with ever increasing regularity and I'm seriously concerned about supply after Brexit as this always happens without any warning and nobody is informed until you try and go and pick up your drugs.
I have been stockpiling since then as you can get my drugs off the internet if you pay for them, its £50 for each prescription but I cannot afford to lose my job through sickness. I'm amazed how they don't even ask any questions.
Has anyone else had supply issues?
