It is too early to tell if I may be pg, but we have recently been TTC. I won't know for another week whether or not we have had success. This afternoon my throat has become more and more sore - I am wondering if there is anything that I can do?

I know that this is a boring question, but can anyone help?

Gargle with water as hot as you can stand and a heaped teaspoon of salt - is disgusting and you don't want to swallow it, but it will work like a charm.

thanks, will try that, no paracetomol then?

paracetomol won't really help a sore throat anyway

turmeric disolved in water, with some ginger and lemon. Won't taste too nice, but turmeric is a natural antiseptic and will have you on the mend in no time.

Will give the turmeric a go too. thx.

You can take paracetamol and it may help. You can also have tunes or strepsils.

Like coolmama said.

My standby is hot lemon juice and honey to soothe it.

BMJ says that paracetamol helps sore throats.
