4 Month Vaccinations

Hi all! Just looking for a bit of advice. My 4 month old Son is due to have his vaccinations this Friday. He's had a bit of a cold over the past couple of weeks and still has a cough which keeps waking him up at night and is making all of us (including baby!) miserable. To yop it all off he has also just developed conjunctivitis!

My Mum says that I should be postponing his vaccinations until he is feeling better. I don't know whether that's a little hysterical or not. What would everyone else do in this situation?

Check temperature, if normal go ahead, if even slightly raised or needing Calpol, don't.

Sometimes the Drs postpone it themselves if the baby is already poorly. If I was you I'd keep the appointment and see what they say. LO will be fine to have it if already under the weather

Thankyou Random and Lauren! I'll see how he is on Friday and if his temperature is fine I'll go ahead.

My baby has had his vaccinations today and has a high temperature. Am trying to control this by giving paracetamol aswell as stripping him down to his nappy, but still the temp is between 37.7 / 38.5. Any advice please?
