Help erythema nodosum

I developed erythema nodosum a week ago. Saw GP ( post night duty so really not at my hotest). I agree with diagnosis and it was what I suspected (in medicine myself but not this area). But I forgot to mention that I had non Hodgkin’s lymphoma as a child. GP literally just said it will go eventually etc.
I have obviously actually read up on it since and seen a link. I am starting to panic please what should I be getting done.
I’m thinking probably should go back ( it is getting much worse) request bloods and chest x-ray?
The rational part of me is trying to think it is just a response to flu etc the ex oncology kid I was is literally screaming. I don’t have any long term follow up as now over 40 and can hardly call up my old treatment centre ( paediatrics) and get assessed there.

I've had it 3 times (on shins) all 3 times I've had bloods and chest X-ray. Make a gp appointment and get these done. You just never know. Mine was due to IBD diagnosed about 10 years later.

I had this but was a reaction to meds I was taking. It fully resolved about 6m after I stopped taking them. It was 20y ago but I still remember how painful it was - hope you feel better soon

Just a quick question, butterfly did yours scar? Mine have left indents in my shins in the soft tissue (more prominent when I point my toes) and the skin has a slight brown tinge to it, it's so upsetting as my legs are/were my best feature!

Ah sorry I see I’m about 2 months late to reply! No, don’t think mine have scarred. Was all over my legs - especially shins, so am very lucky
