Restless legs at night.

It's driving both myself and DP mad.

Every night as I'm trying to fall asleep I'm getting shooting pains down my legs and into my feet and my legs... jump. It's been going on for about three months now and seems to be getting worse.

I'm on a bucketful of meds due to osteoarthritis, severe sciatica and depression and anxiety so it's hard to pinpoint if any of the meds I take are causing it. I also suffer from chronic insomnia and it's taking away any chance of any rest I may get.

Is there anything I can do to try and stop it?

Magnesium supplements and a weighted blanket have been life-changing for me.

Second magnesium, try it in spray form it absorbs quickly.

Oh thank you both - I'll get some magnesium tomorrow.

I do have a really heavy blanket that I put on the bed that an aunt crocheted for me. It's lovely and heavy hut even with that my legs still jump.

I found the spray really stung my legs, but I have sensitive skin. Just something to be aware of.

I take vitamin B complex and that really helps.
