Oh Bu&&er life is so unfair

DD (9) had her first period about 7 weeks ago - as it didn't reappear I thought it might have been a 1 off

But no - she started again tonite

I do think it's unfair at her age

Oh how awful for her.
Is she bothered by it?
Does she understand?

She's excited - I don't think she 'gets' how often it will be - she has a bit of a sore tum

She understand bits - I have tried to explain without bringing too much sex into it

I had "the chat" with DD last week (she's 8). It's a shame they have to be bothered with it so young though isn't it.

Upsetting for you though.
Lifetime of it ahead for her..and your little girl growing up.
9 is so young though, still a baby.

& she is a baby

I don't encourage her to grow up - I like my little girl

she still wears frilly dresses & not jeans all the time

I am dreading this happening so young to my dd's.

Yes & I'll have to ring tomorrow to make sure they have a sanitary bin in the loos - I asked when it first hapened - but there isn't one yet

I remember one of my girl friends was desperate to start hers and unfortunatley I was there when she did - she dropped her pants to show me as she was so excited! Bleurgh I didnt want to start mine until I was at least 18!

just think it's all too soon these days - bless her
