I want a over the counter product which I don't seem to be able to get locally. I can get it online. Any issues I should be aware of?

Isitreallyme · 08/07/2007 21:14

Yes I ahve used Garden Pharmacy at Covent Graden online loads of times ! I think it's only a prob if you use internet to buy drugs that have not been prescribed for you !

SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 21:29

It is a non-prescribed over the counter so I assume that is OK

You want to be careful you don't get counterfeit drugs though - apparently 40% of those tested recently were fakes and some are v. dodgy. Boots is a good way to go though.

SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 21:35

I couldn't get what I wanted in boots locally.

It is only Pripsen for worms...it is not a lifesaving drug.

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 08/07/2007 21:42

Sorry worms as in intestinal worms or as in pets?

whomovedmychocolate · 08/07/2007 21:43

This store is an approved NHS supplier - this is a good sign.

SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 21:49

Intestinal

Will def check that they are NHS registered. The ones I am looking at just seem to be extensions of street corner chemists

OP posts:
SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 21:54

this is hte one I was looking at

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 08/07/2007 21:58

Well they are a licensed pharmacy - they look fine to me.

SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 22:00

Sorry I am not being rude and ignoring yours but the link won't open.

I will try the illage pharmacy tomorrow and order online if I can't get it.

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 08/07/2007 22:01

No, your link I meant. The one you posted, they are fine. Go with them.

Blimey your worms will have moved out by the time I write a coherent sentence

SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 22:02

I know what yoou meant. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring your suggestion and going off to find my own....

OP posts:
whomovedmychocolate · 08/07/2007 22:07

It's your icky health problem, I wasn't offended. But thanks.

I can't imagine what it must be like to have worms urrgggh , do you feel them wriggling.

No, please don't answer....

...funnily I can deal with any form of blood or gore but parasites make me heave.

Good luck killing the little bastards though!

cadelaide · 08/07/2007 22:11

wmmc, I just have to join in here, it's awful.
Ds2, 12m, had a scarey nappy.
The horror, the horror.
And although I have no physical symptoms whatsoever I know I probably have them. I waste too much time peering into the bowl.
Good for the diet.

SlightlyMadSalmon · 08/07/2007 22:23

Yes looking forward to THE nappy....NOT

OP posts:
cadelaide · 08/07/2007 22:53

Actually SMS, the nappy was kind of disappointing.
Nothing of note.

whomovedmychocolate · 09/07/2007 06:12

Thanks you two...was just about keeping breakfast down till I read that!

Oh well I guess I have this joy to come!

SlightlyMadSalmon · 09/07/2007 16:05

You should have read it last night then when we posted it!!!!

SlightlyMadSalmon · 09/07/2007 16:49
