Stomach ache?

I've been suffered on & off for, i'd say about a month maybe 6 weeks with this stomach ache type thing. At first I thought it was just trapped wind, but it's not as I've taken Deflatine (which would normally sort out trapped wind/bloatedness) which hasn't helped.

It feels like I have concrete in my tummy, I do feel bloated & heavy & it is more uncomfortable after a meal. Periods are regular, heavy at first but gradually lighten towards the end. I'm not constipated.

The ache is all across my stomach, it is particularly tender and painful, when pressed down, a bit like pressing on a bruise, on the left side. i am an apple shape, I do have a big belly & I reckon I have put on a few pounds recently.

Other than feeling a bit sluggish, a bit down not sure what's happening. Have made an appt with gp, but not until end of this month!

It really sounds like ibs, have you been under stress recently?.

I suppose I have been under a bit more stress lately, just run of the mill stuff. I actually got a drs appt this morning as I couldn't wait much longer, tummy just felt so heavy last night.

Dr felt my tummy, he said there was nothing that caused him great concern. He suspects he could be stomach acid/indigestion. So he's give. Me some tablets lapronazole or something. He has also booked me for bloods & a scan, just to be on the safe side.

Fingers crossed the tablets will sort it, just feel like I've got a paving slab in my tummy! And I've put weight on! :(
