I had my gallbladder removed last Monday in the evening but there was complications that meant I had an internal bile leak. They put in two drains for the bile. Was kept in hospital on pain meds to varying degrees of success. Had an ERCP endoscopy Thursday morning where they found a 7mm stone blocking the duct, causing the leak. A stent solved the problem. I was discharged from hospital Saturday morning and had the two drains removed on Monday. It’s Wednesday now and I’m still in tears daily with the pain and discomfort. I struggle to sleep through the pain in stomach and upper back but when I’m up I’m constantly yawning which is agony. I have low level ache in chest constantly, no appetite. Someone please tell me this is going to get better soon, I’m really struggling.
