Eczema cream- lid left off!

My son lost his eczema prescription cream -betnovate steroid cream.

I've found some in his bedroom at home (he's got some more where he's living at university) but the lid has been left off. There's plenty left in the tube and I wondered if it will lose potency. I'd rather not throw it out as prescriptions cost so much.

Think the lid has been off for a while.

Any thoughts?

Should be fine. I’d just squeeze out and discard the top plug of cream and work away with the remainder.

I would just check the expiry date as my Betnovate always seems to run out super quickly, I think mine says to replace every three months or it loses potency
