So stressed with doctors visits

Hello,

I am just looking for some kind of support as I am getting very frustrated with constant doctors visits and getting nowhere.

I have had lower abdominal aching and sharp pains (mostly on left side), lower back pain, needing to urinate more during day and night (I have noticed this at night as I never got up during the night to go to the toilet and now I’m getting up 2-3 times),I am constantly feeling tired and have been looking pale and unwell for the last 2 months.

I’ve been to the doctors countless amounts of times and at first because they found blood in my urine they assumed I had a UTI, I was given 10 days of antibiotics but symptoms didn’t go away so then they moved onto it being an issue with my ovaries, I went for an ultrasound and transvaginal ultrasound and had a complete blood count done and all was clear. Last doctor visit she suggested it may be kidneys however urine test has come back clear today.

I just feel at a loss, I want to know what is going on but everything seems to be coming up as a dead end. I’m trying to convice myself to be persistent and not tell myself “I can deal with it” and just drop the whole thing entirely.

Has anyone had anything similar to this? Or have any advice for me please?

Thank you in advance Smile

Did the ultrasound include your kidneys? Or was it ovaries only?

Thank you for replying, the ultrasound only included my ovaries not my kidneys.

Ask to have your kidneys scanned. I had a problem with my kidneys that was picked up and treated by ultrasound.

I'd definitely go back to gp and ask them to do another urinalysis. They found blood in my urine and I had a kidney and bladder ultrasound and a camera inside my bladder to rule anything nasty out. With your symptoms I'd go back n insist, chances are it's nothing but for peace of mind you need it.

Hello, thank you all for replying! Just a quick update, sorry for the absence. I have felt really unwell. I went back to the doctors the next day and he agreed something wasn’t right. He has now referred me for an emergency CT scan which should be within the next 2 weeks. So fingers crossed we will get to the bottom of the problem Halo
