Feeling sick most mornings

Hi,
I highly doubt I'm pregnant, I am on the pill but I wake up most mornings feeling like I'm going to throw up. I drink 2-3litres of water a day. I just can't figure out why I'm like this? I thought I was anemic, always feeling tired but gp doesn't think so. I have a healthy diet with nothing fried and try an not eat after 9pm. Any ideas would be appreciated xx

I used to have this when I was a teenager. A personal trainer once told me that more protein in the evening would have helped.

So, maybe try a little more protein with your evening meal and a handful of nuts before bed.

could it be acid reflux?

You might want to ask your GP to test you for diabetes if you haven't been already

nocoolnamesleft · 02/03/2019 20:40

Highly doubt is not the same as couldn't be...might be prudent to check....

Take a pregnancy test to make sure.

What makes it feel better? Eating, water, sleeping for longer?

Thank you everyone for a reply.
I have a lot of protein in my meals as I'm on slimming world - target member so I tend to fill up on protein foods.
I'm not having any symptoms of pregnancy like I did with my little boy. That's why i didn't think it was that.
Maybe it could be diabetes?
Last night I was that tired I went to sleep at around 8:45 woke up at 5am as I heard my son then I actually went back asleep till 7:40. I never sleep that long or that late well it is Sunday after all, day of rest haha but even sleeping that long I still woke up feeling like I was going to throw up but I had a banana and it settled me.
Trip to the Drs tomorrow xx

Def see your GP. Take a urine sample with you.

Low blood sugar?

When I had nausea in the mornings it turned out to be a kidney problem. Not saying that’s what you have, but definitely worth a visit to the GP to rule out anything sinister.

FurrySlipperBoots · 05/03/2019 05:36

Being on the pill did that to me! I felt sick and dizzy every morning. The GP ran a few tests and told me 'There's absolutely nothing wrong with you!' but I decided to stop taking the pill on the offchance it would help, and that was it. I'd been taking it for ages too.

Seaweed42 · 05/03/2019 09:15

You could try changing your pill to a different brand next month and see if that helps.
