Muscle pain under mole.... please help!

Hi all,

I've posted in chat but only had 1 response.

Please don't flame me for asking on here and not just booking a GP appointment.

I have a mole on the back of my right thigh. I went to the doctors a couple of months ago to have them check a few of my moles because they are itchy from time to time. I was told the moles looked perfectly healthy. It wasn't until I got home from the doctors that I realised i had forgotten to mention something. From time to time I get a pain in the back of my right thigh. Whenever this pain comes, it's from the exact place where the mole is. It doesn't feel as though the pain comes from the mole, more as though it comes from the muscle directly underneath. It's not a particularly sore pain, but it is always in the same spot.

I am a previous sufferer of health anxiety and basically I'm feeling extremely panicky just now and have convinced myself there's something seriously wrong.

I will be booking a GP appointment and will discuss my anxiety with them as well as the pain. I just wondered if anyone could offer any advice or reassurance in the mean time? Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Thanks.

I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the mole. Is the muscle tight at all? Perhaps worth seeing a sports massage therapist who can have a look and pinpoint where the pain is coming from.
