Blood tests - can anyone advise?

I've had blood tests done at the GP, but they didn't test for vit b12 or vit d or thyroid function, although I presented with fatigue, brain fog, weight gain, weak nails, out of kilter thermostat. I am potentially peri-menopausal but before I try again to be taken seriously at the GP I'd like to get an idea of my blood results. I think I will be more assertive about all this if I know things aren't quite right test-wise.

I've seen online test at home kits, like Thriva. Has anyone used anything like this and have any views or recommendations? Or any companies to avoid? Thanks.

I'd go back to your GP and demand it. They were clearly only looking for concerning markers, blood disorders indicating something serious, kidney and liver problems maybe.

All what you describe though is typical of perimenopausal symptoms so likely to be just that but it's better to focus on this if you can eleminate the rest so tell your gp that's why you want the other tests.

I know you are right swingofthings but I genuinely think I will feel more assertive if I do this first Smile.

What I'd like is some recommendations or places to avoid from anyone who's done this before Star
