I have never felt so shite in all my life!! I was diagnosed with PND when DS was just 6 weeks old. Put on citlopram (20mg) felt no better after 6 weeks so went back and gp upped the dose to 40mg.

Im still very down alot but the past few weeks Im exhausted. Im yawning away all day. Im going to bed around 10pm sometimes 9 and getting a full nights sleep but i cant seem to wake up!!!

do you think its related to the depression?

Do you mean Citalopram? If so it could be the drugs themselves - I take this to "change my perception of pain" as painkillers alone don't work for my condition (yup, I'm trying to believe what I've been told despite it sounding odd) and since I started taking it a month ago I feel extremely tired. I wake up tired and like you struggle to wake.

Can you go back to the GP and discuss this because they may be able to change your medication if it is a real problem, especially given that tiredness is a major symptom of depression anyway.
