Is this a virus? Do you recognise these symptoms?

Nausea (no vomiting but come close)
Headache
Light handedness
Tiredness even after a good night's sleep.

Also got slight bowel upset but I have IBS so that may not be related.

All the above symptoms come and go, not there all the time, except the tiredness.

Does anyone recognise these symptoms as a virus doing the rounds?

Third symptom should be light headedness.

YES! This one has taken out 2 of my kids, my mum and half my sons school. Bad nausea on and off for a week but no vomiting. Bad tummy pains on the first day but just nausea after that. Very exhausted in and off. Very off food. In between able to get on with things for the most part.

But that doesn’t mean it’s exactly what you have but we can speculate it is. I’ve never seen a virus like it though I’m grateful for the lack of actual vomiting.

Didn't have the nausea but all the other symptoms plus cold for three weeks. Dizziness due to fever for the first week, then due to sinusitis.

Yes, I'm grateful for the lack of vomiting as I am severely phobic. But I am asking because I feel so guilty taking time off work for symptoms that seem to come and go, and not actually lead anywhere. I had Friday off and fully expected to be better today. Cooked Sunday lunch yesterday, went for a longish walk in the afternoon, felt delicate, but ok. Then bam! Full on nausea and dizziness yesterday evening. 9 hours sleep last night and still feeling like a train has hit me today.
