Oh no Poor little one. No advice I'm afraid, just lots of sympathy!

they look like little blisters. I knew the minute I saw them on dd and had never seen them before (except yonks ago when I had them). They really are like nothing else.

I rang doctors and they said not to bother taking her in unless worried.

Wheelybug · 06/07/2007 08:47

HOw old is she ?

get the following:

piriton
bicarb of soda (put in bath)
calamine (but dd refused to have this on despite it being pink !)

Prepare for a long sit in....

DUNWTG - give your surgery a call and say that you think LO may have the pox and see what they say.

dressedupnowheretogo · 06/07/2007 08:57

well yesterday she had these 4 random lumps come up with red round them

this moring they have gone apart from two and now she has random red patches that are blotchy plus she had really bad diahorrea yesterday which caused the most red nappy rash i have ever seen despite her being naked the whole time and bathing her cool water not using wipes etc

she is ok in herself bt yesterday was really clingy

maybe take her to the doctors if you're worried - it doesn't sound like dd's chicken pox looked like but you never know !

dressedupnowheretogo · 06/07/2007 09:00

Starts like red insect bites then they gradually get a pusy cream head then scab. ds' first were behind his ear , dd's on shoulder.

dressedupnowheretogo · 06/07/2007 09:53

it looks more like nettle rash at the moment

My DD has it at the moment. First two spots were red and large. I thought they were midge bites at first but they got quite fierce, then the blisters appeared in droves. They look like water blisters, some large and some small. Eventually they kind of weep and then crust over. They are on her face, her ears, eyes, mouth, in her hair and all over her body, on her bottom and some around her fanjo. Lovely!

LIZS · 06/07/2007 09:57

could it be hives then, reaction to food or contact with something unusual? Piriton still good (if over a year)

dressedupnowheretogo · 06/07/2007 10:29

i dont knoew she now has lots of little red spots with heads on

OP posts:
dressedupnowheretogo · 06/07/2007 10:54

i dont think its hives she has had no new foods or been anywhere to get them
