Tiredness and Fatigue

I get tired easily. It's not a normal tiredness. I feel hungover even though I don't drink to bring that on.

I don't know if it's my work that's causing me this exhaustion or something else. I work as a childminder for a family but it turned into more like slavery than anything else. The parents trying to extort as much as possible out from me.

I used to have a daily energy drink but I gave that up. Around about the same time, I started taking a range of vitamins for my oral health because I had some dental issues. I had a few weeks where I felt more energy, my head and energy was better. I came down with a heavy cold the week before last and fell off the wagon with my vitamins and minerals.

The past week, I felt completely drained. I don't know if it's because stopping the vitamins and minerals, or the work that I have. On tuesday I worked from morning until 9.45pm - the parents let me home at. On Thursday it was morning til after 11pm at night. So they are long days. This definitely isn't the first time I worked these long kind of days. I f eel if it was any other job, I would get a lunch break in the day where I could digest a meal and finish at a reasonable time in the evening.

Does anyone else suffer from tiredness, exhaustion, fatigue?

Did you find anything that helps?

Hey Op, sorry no one has replied to you. I'm afraid it sounds like your employers are seriously taking the p out of you in relation to your hours. I think you're exhausted and overworked which is why you feel this way.. you're just reacting to your circumstances! Can you have a word with your family and say you cannot continue like this?

You have posted before about these people. Have you been able to make any headway about finding other work ?

Do you have a contract with the family that stipulates hours? You need to enforce them and if no-one is there to collect at X time, send them a text saying you are contacting SS and do it. They are taking the piss.

Get your bloods done again. I have amenia. Last week it was also picked up that I have Pernicious anaemia (I don't absorb B-12), even though I have regular blood tests
