Just wanted to ask if anyone has had their appendix out ,how did you deal with the pain after and how long was it for.
I had mine removed just Mon,via emergency operation. Im home from hospital and all drains are obviously out but I just have pain down one side which I presume is normal (I had a nasty appendix that had burst)and it's not being controlled well with pain relief I don't think as the pain is constant . Have no pain anywhere else just the side where you get appendix pain.
The medication they are giving me is giving my loose bowels anyway but I'll have to ride it out I know.just wondering if the pain is normal and how long it lasts for.
