CBD oil

I get lots of pain from TMJ and am having a terrible flair up. I can't get to my oesteopath for a week and I was thinking of trying cannabis oil but wasn't sure if it would do anything as I have heard lots of conflicting stories. Has anyone had any success with it?
I heard that the Holland and Barrett version one isn't really strong enough to take effect.

It doesn't work quickly (if it works at all), you have to gradually build up the dose.
Didn't help my joint pain at all. I joined CBD UK users group, did everything advised and tried another brand when first one didn't work. Kept being told it takes time to work but after nearly 6 months decided it had been long enough.
