I've got another appointment with my GP and more blood tests booked in. But just wondered if any one else might have any ideas.
My GP has said he wants to get to the bottom of it,but not sure what that's going to entail.
Symptoms:
Upper abdominal pain.
Breathless.
Dizziness.
Blurred Vision.
Vertigo.
Severe tiredness and fatigue.
Tired weak muscles.
Clumsiness.
Severe heartburn,even wake with it.
Numbness in finger tips.
Pins and needles in hands and feet.
And one other strange symptom smelling something that isn't there,I have episodes were I can smell a very strong chemical smell,Its happened at various times and places.
Even with taking iron and folate supplements(prescribed) and eating a very healthy varied diet,my recent blood test results came back as:
Ferritin level ~9
HB ~11.6
Red blood cell width ~16.7
Haematocrit ~ 0.3
MCV ~81.2
MCH ~ 26.7
FOLATE ~ 2
I've felt ill for years,but recently especially with the fatigue I'm really struggling.
Any help ideas would be very much appreciated.
