Diarrhoea with eggy burps and nausea

Has anyone got any advice?
I've had this for 4 days now and still not out of the woods yet.
Feeling pretty poorly with violent diarrhoea, stomach cramps that go all around your stomach and back. High temperatures with aching everywhere with unsteady on the feet.
I had sips of water and original lucozade, painkillers and diacalm. A hot water bottle or microwave pad think helps the pain in your intestines.
Today is the 1st day of no runs so trying toast. But still got sore intestines. .. I'll keep you posted.
If anyone has had similar please let me know the outcome or have any advice.

I have got similar at the moment. Started with diarrhoea then nausea set in. Didn’t throw up (body wanted to) but as I’m an emetophobic I will do anything to keep stuff down. This started Friday night and Sunday I ate solids as felt hungry, managed to go for hours with a very noisy gut and could trust a fart so thought was on the mend. Then this morning bam, shits back again (very unusual colour too). Got joint aches and am generally knackered.

If you have eggy burps I’d be saying giardiasis but I always thought that was a thing people got more from abroad.

The eggy burps make it sound like you may have Helicobacter Pylori. It’s a bug that can be treated with antibiotics. Go and see your GP. Get well soon x

I suffer from sulphur burps (eggy burps) a fair amount. It's linked to my ibs. The absolute cure for them is pepto bismol. One dose and voila they are gone. Also works wonders for the diarrhoea too, but be warned it does tend to turn your poop black!

Or Giardiasis. Again, treatable. Your Gp will want to know about it.

It could be food poisoning as it has lasted so long. I would phone and speak to your GP

I'm suffering the same and came on to ask if it's normal. I have been shitting liquid bile every half hour for 4 days and feel like death (sorry tmi). Haven't moved from my bed much but did manage a shower today while DH changed the bedding. I shall ring my go tomorrow.
Here's hoping all you fellow sufferers feel better soon. Come back and tell us if any of you get a diagnosis.

Sometimes your gut goes into spasms with a bug and you keep on pooping even though the bug is dead. Do you have any immodium?
