Pain in armpit

Over the past few days, I experienced a pain under my arm in the armpit.

I don't usually shave there. Maybe once every few months. I'm not bothered by hair there. I did shave before the Christmas because I had an event and wore a sleeveless dress. I don't wear underwire bras so there's no wires digging into my armpits.

I had a look in the mirror. There's a small, little fleshy bit that's a bit loose. Kinda looks like a spot falling off or something. It's yellow.

Anyone experience similar? Just wondering what on Earth it could be and if it's a trip to the GP is in order.

On a pain scale from 1 to 10, I'd would mark it as a 2.

I found the reason for the pain. There is a spot that is infected and there's pus.

Is this a case for a visit to the GP? Or will I continue washing with Epson salts?

I would try and see a pharmacist first, saves waiting to see a GP - they will tell you if they think you'd should see a Dr.

Unfortunately I'm no where near a pharmacy today. My upper arm is sore and heavy now so I will make an appointment at the GP later today for tomorrow
