Aching shoulders

I know it must be quite normal, but I end up with really aching shoulders each evening. Painful beyond anything a massage could relieve, but they recover overnight and I start all over again the next day.

Generally I'm healthy, fit, active and whilst pretty busy, don't lead a stressful life. It just seems wrong to finish each day feeling like this. I can't work out what is doing it, or what I can do to avoid it.

Has anyone found a way to ease it? I do lots of different exercise, but nothing likely to cause this pain. I walk the dog (she does pull on the lead), I do ironing, cooking, cleaning, washing up - everyday stuff which may add up, but surely shouldn't leave me feeling like this. Any suggestions, please?
