Hot/sweaty in mornings

I think my body temperature must be quite high in the mornings. I don't notice it so much at home when I shower and get ready. It's just the 10 min walk to my train station. By the time I get there I am sweating. So annoying because I've just had a shower and then I turn up to work not feeling fresh at all.

I don't have the experience an hour later when I'm walking from the train to work or any other time of day.

I'm 46 - could this be a peri menopausal thing?
I also take antidepressants which can cause sweating as a side effect and wondered if it was due to this, and if taking the tablet in the evening rather than morning might help??

Could be either or both. Mention it to your GP.

Definitely a sign of the peri. I don't really get night sweats or hot flushes, but when I do, it usually hit me a out 1 hour after I get up. My hormones fluctuation is definitely at its peak early morning.

I'm experiencing the same. Don't need to be walking can be sitting having a morning coffee and I start sweating.

I'm 43 and definitely think it's hormones. It seems to be worse when periods are due.

Yes, I kind of get the feeling it's a hormonal thing. I just wish I had a solution - hate getting sweaty first thing in the morning.
