Ultrasound

Hi All, I have recently turned 40 and have decided that I need to get my (rather large) breasts checked. I am going for an ultrasound tomorrow and am petrified. I suffer from health anxiety and am always worrying something is wrong. I check my breasts daily in the shower and sometimes poke and prod myself so much that I bruise myself. I have a little bump that I have had for years on one side and my husband says the same thing is at the other side.
I am so so scared in case they find something wrong. I have an ache on one side at the moment. It could be a number of things - I am currently receiving physio for rotator cuff problems, it could be chest muscle pain radiating into my breast, it could be me thinking about it constantly and worrying, it could be hormones as have been on fertility treatment since October.....but in my mind, it is always the worst case scenario. Has anyone any advice? :(

Hi

Are you going private?

Did you see your GP about your worries?

xx
