Hi all, I know most of you aren't doctors and I'm not expecting a diagnosis from you but maybe some of you have had the same experience as me.
(Im a 22 year old female, no children)
Basically, as of about 6 months ago I got a swollen lymph node in my armpit, not painful. It went away, then had one two weeks later, very painful and eventually went away. It went on like this every few weeks some painful some not, only got one at a time though, it varied in each armpit. I have one now and it's the most painful one I've had, all have been hard and don't move. I've tried changing my shower gel, I don't wear deodorant or antiperspirant and I don't shave, so it's none of these.
I have seen my doctor twice about it and explained everything and he felt them each time and wasn't concerned, but I know my body and I know getting loads all of a sudden isn't normal.
Reason I'm worried is that I don't recall ever getting any before, now all of a sudden I've had several in a few months. They come and go which is worrying cause it could be due to cancer, as cancer can show symptoms, they go away and come back.
If anyone's had any experiences I'd like to hear them, thank you
